On October 30, the "YoungTalents" Experimental Courses on Science and Technology Innovation hasofficially started. A total of 36 students from Sinopec newly recruited "YoungTalents" and Ph.D. graduates participated in the training. Guo Yingjie, VicePresident of Sinopec Management Institute, and Director of Technical Training Departmentpresented at the opening ceremony.

The "Young Talents"Experimental Courses in Science and Technology Innovation is one of the keytalents training program organized according to Sinopec training plan in 2018,which aims at promoting the construction of Sinopec's innovative talents team inscience and technology and cultivating the "Young Talents" graduates tobe skillful, innovative and inter-disciplinary talent talents with patriotism andfine working attitude.

This is a training with distinctivecharacters aiming at cultivating an innovative team in science and technology throughproviding courses on ideology, management and innovation tools to let theparticipants master scientific thinking and working methods and improvecomprehensive abilities.

Vice President Guo putforward five requirements for the students. First, they should put great emphasison this training and quickly realize the "three transformations".Second, they should have higher demand for themselves as excellent employees ofSinopec. Third, they should concentrate on learning with proper methods;Fourth, they should keep vigorous and positive attitude to create a goodlearning atmosphere; Fifth, they should put safety first all the time.
