The First Seminar for Managers of Sinopec Brand Building and Management was Successfully Completed

On October 11, the three-daytraining course of the first Seminar for Managers of Sinopec Brand Building andManagement was successfully completed.

 

The main task of this seminarwas to thoroughly study and implement Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism withChinese Characteristics for a New Eraand the spirit of the 19thNational Congress of the Communist Party of China, and to carry out therelevant requirements of the State-Owned Assets Supervision and AdministrationCommission of the State Council on further strengthening the brand building of state-ownedenterprises. This seminar also aimed at putting Sinopec Groups' brand buildinggoal, "Building a Global Famous Brand to Comprehensively Improve the SoftPower, “Enhancing Brand Building and Management to Promote Corporate Image”,into effect. It was a chance to wrap up the work of brand building in the past,exchange good practices and experiences, analyze the current situation tofurther unify ideas, and promote "World-Class Brand" building step bystep.

 

Through three days' study, allthe participants agreed that they had enhanced the awareness of the brandinternationalization of SOE, and the brand was an important soft power for theenterprise. The brand would have an important positive driving force for thecompany's status and influence in the international market .

 

At the closing ceremony,representatives of each group gave a report on their discussion results. WangTao, Deputy Director of the Public Affair Department, gave a speech. He praisedevery participants' serious studying attitude in the past three days. He alsostressed that it was necessary to effectively implement the brand building deploymentstrategy of the central government and Sinopec Group. It was an importantmeasure to implement the strategic deployment of the Party Central Committeeand the State Council to building a first-class brand. It was one gateway tobecome a world-class energy and chemical company. Sinopec's brand building workhad experienced three stages of development: “brand recognition”, “brandintegration” and “brand strategy”. It was necessary to have new achievements inthe new era. Brand excellence was not a short-term activity, but a process ofcreating a dominant brand sustainably. It was necessary to take full action topromote the brand building of Sinopec.
