During March 19th to 30th, the first session of Malaysia Petroleum Company's (Petronas) ARDS Operator On-Job-Training Program was successfully completed, so was the second session from April 8th to 21st. These two sessions are the first internationalized technical training courses organized by SINOPEC Management Institute in conjunction with the Malaysia ARDS EPCC project contracted by SINOPEC Engineering Incorporation. The aim is to upgrade the theoretical level and operational skills of ARDS unit management and operators for Petronas, and to provide talent support for the smooth start-up and future stable operation of the unit.

The training has been highly valued by Petronas. A delegation lead by Vice President of Petronas, Dr Colin Wong Hee Huing, attend the opening ceremony of the training in SINOPEC Management Institute and had a cordial meeting with Madam Sun Lili, CEO of SEI and President Zhou Zhiming of SINOPEC Management Institute

TheARDS Operator On-Job-Training Program for Petronas is the first professional technical training course for employees of multinational petrochemical companies, which is not only the expansion of overseas training, but also a chance to demonstrate the technical strength of SINOPEC in the international stage. This training has also built another platform and mile stone for communication, mutual benefit and win-win cooperation between Sinopec and multinational petrochemical companies.

This training targeted on the start-up and commission of the overseas EPCC project, which is the pioneer in EPCC Refining and Chemical Engineering in China. It will further strengthen the competitiveness of Chinese petrochemical engineering enterprises in overseas markets by providing technical training and operation training to present the third name card " Start-up & Commission " to the world, which is also another "sharp weapon" for Sinopec actively participating in the national "Belt and Road" construction in the overseas market.
